Global Industries

Global Industries is out in Site-5 of the UPSIDC Industrial Area, specifically at K-381. It’s quite a trek to get out here if you’re coming from the main city, but this is where all the actual production happens. The industrial area is full of large sheds and trucks, and our spot is no different. It’s a big, practical space meant for making things. We don’t spend much time on decorations or fancy furniture. The floor is concrete, and the sound of machinery is pretty much the soundtrack to our day. Even though the name sounds big and international, we are really just a group of people working hard in a dusty industrial zone. The air around Site-5 always smells a bit like metal and exhaust. We’ve got our routine down at K-381. Most mornings start with checking the machines and making sure the day’s schedule is set. It can get pretty hot in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. There’s a sense of community among the businesses out here because we all deal with the same issues, like power cuts or transport delays. It’s honest work. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the manufacturing and making sure the stuff leaving our gates is what it needs to be. It’s a simple, hardworking environment that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without any unnecessary fuss.
