Evergreen Sweets

Our shop is located at number 3501 in Rani Bagh, right near Raja Park. This is a very busy area and there is always a lot of noise coming from the street outside. We start our work very early every morning when most of the neighborhood is still asleep. You can hear the sound of the large metal pots clanging as we begin to boil the milk for the day. The glass display cases get filled up with many different kinds of sweets as the hours go by. We do not have any fancy decorations in the shop. It is just a plain place where the glass is often foggy because of the heat from the freshly made snacks. The floor stays a bit sticky no matter how many times we try to sweep it. That is just the way things are in a sweet shop like this. People from around Raja Park come in mostly for their morning breakfast or to buy something for their families in the evening. We have a few workers here who have been part of the shop for a long time. We all just do our jobs and try to keep up with the rush of customers. During the festival season, it gets really busy and we hardly have any time to sit down. The shop isn't very big, so it feels crowded very quickly. We just focus on getting the sweets packed and ready for whoever comes in next.
