Designer Worlds

Our office is in the Alfa Commercial Belt 1 at number 409. It’s a busy spot in the building and you can usually hear the noise from the hallway. We do design work here, mostly focused on interiors and making spaces look decent. It is not a very large place, just some desks, computers, and a lot of paper rolls scattered around. The light comes in quite strong in the afternoon, which helps when we are looking at color samples on the table. We’ve been here for several years now, and the walls are starting to show a bit of wear. There is a tea guy downstairs who brings us cups throughout the day. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see us working at our screens or arguing about where a cabinet should go. It’s a small operation. We know most of the other people on this floor. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. It’s just part of being in this commercial belt. We start our day around nine and stay until the work is finished, which is often quite late. We don't really do much advertising, people just find us and we talk about their projects. It's a practical way to run things, just focusing on the drawings and the dimensions.
