You will find Carol Colognes Pvt. Ltd. over at G-26 Site B in Surajpur. This is an industrial area, so there are a lot of warehouses and factories nearby. Our spot at G-26 isn’t very large, but it’s enough for what we do. The air inside usually smells like whatever we are mixing that day. It can be quite strong when you first walk in from the dusty street. We spend our time filling bottles and checking labels. It’s repetitive work, but we’ve got a good group of people here who make the time go by faster. Site B is a bit of a drive for some of us, but we are used to the commute now. The building is a standard grey structure, much like the others on the block. We don’t have a fancy showroom for the colognes. Most of our space is taken up by storage and the production line. We keep the floor swept, but it’s an industrial unit, so it’s never going to be perfectly clean. We’ve been in Surajpur for a good few years now. Carol Colognes is just a small outfit trying to keep things moving. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on getting the bottles packed and sent out to the distributors. It’s a steady pace here, and we like it that way. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to keep us company while we work. It isn't much, but it helps.
