We are out in the industrial area at I-59, U.P.S.I.D.C. Surajpur Site V. It is in Kasna, Gautam Buddh Nagar, which is quite a distance for some of us to travel every day. The site is surrounded by other factories and warehouses, so it definitely has that industrial feel. Inside our facility, we focus on bio science work. This means we have a lot of specialized equipment and we have to keep the place very clean. It is not like a regular office; there are labs and storage areas that require a lot of attention. We spend our hours monitoring different processes and making sure our records are updated. The air out here can be a bit dusty because of all the construction and trucks, but we keep our interior controlled. Lunch usually means sitting in the small break area or going to one of the nearby stalls if they are open. It is hard work and the days can be long, especially when we are in the middle of a project that can't be left alone. We have a team of people who are used to the routine of the industrial site. We don't have many visitors because of the location, but that allows us to get on with our tasks without many interruptions. It is a practical setup for the kind of science work we do and we keep things moving daily so everything stays on track. It is a steady enough job.
