Aggarwal Traders

Down here in Gamma I Amritpuram, you’ll find Aggarwal Traders. We are tucked away in a spot that isn't too noisy, which is nice. Our family has been doing this for years, passing the keys down. We sell a bit of everything that people need for their homes or small shops. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time counting stock and writing things down in our ledgers. Computers are okay, but we still like using paper for some things. Customers come in and sometimes they stay to talk for twenty minutes even after they bought what they came for. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in and yell for one of us if we are in the back room. Sometimes the delivery guy brings the wrong size of something and we have to sort it out on the sidewalk. It gets messy but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up everywhere. But we stay right here in Amritpuram. It feels like home to us now and we plan to stay for as long as we can keep the doors open.
