Lucro

Lucro is based at 175 New Aashirwad Industrial Estate, right in Building No. 5. If you know the industrial estate, you know it’s a busy place with a lot of noise and trucks coming in and out. Our unit is one of many, but we’ve made it our own over the years. Inside, it’s mostly just equipment and stacks of materials. It is not the kind of place you’d come for a fancy meeting. We wear regular clothes and don't mind getting our hands a bit dirty. The building itself is sturdy but definitely looks like it’s been through a lot of work cycles. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor or at the few desks we have crammed into the front office. There is always a lot to do, from checking the incoming stuff to making sure everything is ready to go out. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just steady work that requires a bit of attention and some patience. Building No. 5 can get quite hot in the summer, so we usually have the big fans running all day long. We know the other business owners in the New Aashirwad estate pretty well. We trade stories sometimes when we’re out in the hallway. It’s a working-class environment and we fit right in. We just keep our heads down and get the job finished.
