Sajik And Sons

We’ve been running things here in Mahar for quite a few years now. It’s basically a family operation, just me and the sons handling the daily chores of the business. We don’t have a flashy storefront or a big marketing team. Most of the time, we are just out back moving inventory or sitting at the old wooden desk trying to make sense of the bills. The neighborhood knows us by now, so we don't really have to explain what we do. It’s just a regular shop where we try to keep things moving. Some mornings are slow and we just sit around drinking tea and talking about the news, but other days it’s a total scramble to get everything sorted. We’ve had the same leaky roof in the corner for a while, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear regular clothes and talk to people like they are our neighbors, because most of them actually are. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy enough. We aren't looking to change the world, just trying to keep the family business afloat and do right by the folks who come in.
