Adventure Geek

Adventure Geek is based out of Kandivali, and our space is more of a gear room than a traditional office. If you come by, you are more likely to see piles of sleeping bags, ropes, and trekking shoes than you are to see any fancy furniture. We are basically a group of people who love the outdoors and decided to make a living out of it. We spend most of our time planning trekking trips and outdoor excursions, mainly in the Sahyadri mountains. It involves a lot of work that people don't see, like checking trail conditions, talking to local villagers for food arrangements, and making sure all the safety gear is in good shape. We are usually dressed in trekking pants and t-shirts, ready to head out for a recce or a weekend trip. The office gets really busy on Thursday and Friday as we pack everything for the upcoming groups. We’ve been in Kandivali for a long time and the locals are used to seeing us hauling big rucksacks to the station. It’s a bit of a chaotic way to work, with gear everywhere and phones constantly ringing with people asking about the next trip. We don't have any formal business talk or polished presentations. We just love being in the mountains and we want to help other people get out there too. It’s a simple life focused on trails and campfires.
