Modern Agrotech Industries

Out here in Village Bilga, things usually move at a pretty steady pace. Modern Agrotech Industries is located right on Uppal Road, which gets quite a bit of traffic from the local tractors and trucks passing through. We are part of the Phillaur tehsil area, so it’s a central enough spot for folks around here. The building isn't anything brand new or shiny, but it serves its purpose for the kind of heavy work we do every day. Every morning we open up the shutters and start on whatever tasks are left over from the day before. There's usually a lot of noise coming from the machines and the metal being moved around. People from the surrounding villages know where to find us if they need something fixed for their fields. We don't spend much time sitting in an office or doing paperwork; most of the day is spent on the shop floor dealing with the actual equipment. It gets quite dusty in the summer, especially during the harvest time when everyone is in a rush, but that's just how it is in this business. We’ve been at this for a good bit now, watching the seasons change from our spot on the road. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the benches until it comes back on. It's a decent place to work and the guys here are good people. We aren't trying to be some massive company, just a steady local shop that stays open for the community.
