G.Plus Carpenteria Metallica

Our place, G.Plus Carpenteria Metallica, is located in V.P.O Nangal Lubana. It is a quiet village area most of the time except when we are running the machines. We spend most of our mornings doing metal work and getting things ready for whatever job came in that week. There is always the sound of grinding or welding going on in the background. It gets loud and the air smells like burnt iron, but you get used to it after a while. We have been doing this for a bit and people from around the village know where to find us if they need a gate fixed or some metal frames made for their windows. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings that we have to sweep up every evening before we head home. We do not have any big fancy signs or a glass front. It is just a workspace where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait, maybe have some chai until it comes back on. Dealing with the heavy steel beams can be tough on the back so we take it slow when we need to. Most of our tools are old but they still work fine for what we need to do. It is just a regular life here working with metal and trying to get things finished before the sun sets over the fields. (247 words)
