Zoom Security System

If you walk down Chitragupta Lane in Subhash Nagar, you’ll find us at number 78. It is a narrow street and parking can be a real pain if you have a big car. We spend a lot of time testing cameras and checking wires on the big table in the back. Zoom Security System isn't a massive corporation, it’s just a few of us trying to make a living and helping people out. The walls are covered in some old posters and some tool racks we put up ourselves. It gets dusty because of the construction nearby but we try to wipe things down every morning. Most days are pretty quiet until the afternoon rush. We have a lot of regular folks from the neighborhood who pop their heads in to say hello. Sometimes we have to go out on jobs and leave a note on the door saying we'll be back in an hour. It’s not very professional, I guess, but that’s how we manage. The lights in here are a bit too bright sometimes. We’ve thought about changing them but never got around to it. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when we get hungry. Working here is steady. It’s not glamorous, but we like being part of the Subhash Nagar community. It feels like home after all these years of being on this specific lane. We usually close up when the sun goes down and head home.
