Vriddhavan Sewa Foundation

Vriddhavan Sewa Foundation is located at House Number 75T in Shivaji Nagar, over in the Rustampur part of Gorakhpur. It is actually Ghan Shyam Singh’s place. We have set up our small office here because it is a quiet and steady neighborhood. Gorakhpur is a big city, but our corner feels a bit more like a community where everyone knows each other. We don’t have a flashy office with glass doors or a receptionist sitting at the front desk. It is mostly just us working in a couple of rooms with some basic desks and chairs. We keep all our records in physical folders because we don't always trust the computers when the power flickers. The address is 273001, so we are easy enough to find if you are looking for the pin code. We don't spend our time writing big reports or doing a lot of promotion. We just focus on the daily tasks that need to be finished. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around to make room for more supplies, and it can get a bit cluttered. We don't mind it much, though. We are used to the way things work here. It is a simple, honest setup where we just do what we can for the people around us. Most of our days are spent on the phone or writing out lists. We’re just local people doing our bit from a house in Shivaji Nagar.
