Vikram Yajna Foundation

The Vikram Yajna Foundation is located in a village called Barwa Babu. Our mail goes to the Pipraich Tajpipra post office in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The zip code is 273152. Being in a village means we are far away from the big city offices. Our setup is very basic. We work out of a small brick building that doesn’t have any air conditioning or fancy tech. We just have some basic furniture and our notebooks. Most of us are from Barwa Babu or the villages nearby. We know the people here and the struggles they face every day. We don't have a big marketing plan or a polished image. We just get up and do what needs to be done. Sometimes it’s helping a neighbor, and other times it’s more official work. It can get very dusty and hot in the summer, but we are used to it. We don't have many meetings; we just talk while we work. It’s an honest way to live and work. We aren't looking for attention or trying to be famous. We just want to make sure the foundation is doing something useful for the folks around Gorakhpur. Sometimes things move slowly because of the bureaucracy, but we keep at it. It’s a simple life here, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re just local people trying to be of some use in our own community.
