If you find yourself walking down the Main Road in Gorakhpur, you will see us right across from Sampat Lala’s shop. It is a very busy area and there is always something going on outside our door. Vijay Gen Stores is just a local spot where people come to get their daily things. We don't have any bright signs or anything fancy to attract attention. Most of our customers have been coming here for a long time, so they know exactly where to find us. The shelves inside are usually pretty full, and it can look a bit messy if you aren't used to it. But we know where every single item is kept. It gets especially crowded in the late afternoon when everyone is finishing work. We spend a lot of time chatting with the people who come in.
