Our office is tucked away at House No. 162 in Ram Nagar Colony. It’s right behind the Corporation Bank ATM in Mohaddipur, Gorakhpur. If you find the ATM, you basically found us. Being in a colony like Ram Nagar means it's mostly residential and quiet, which we like for our work at Tejlaxmi Nidhi Limited. We set up shop in this house because it felt more personal than a big commercial building. You walk in and there’s usually some paperwork spread out on the desks. We spend our mornings checking entries and talking to members who live nearby. Gorakhpur can be quite hectic, but our little corner remains relatively calm. We have a couple of ceiling fans that stay on all day during the summer months. People usually recognize the building because of the landmark nearby. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the regular daily tasks of managing the Nidhi business. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we have to wait a bit, but we always get the job done. It feels good to be part of the Mohaddipur community. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the people who walk past our gate every day. It’s a simple setup where we focus on the records and making sure everyone who comes in feels heard. There’s always a bit of tea being shared if someone stays long enough for the paperwork.
