Star Hospital Pvt. Ltd. is located in Bindwasini Nagar on Bank Road. This area is always crowded because of all the shops and banks nearby. Finding a place to park a car is almost impossible, so most people come by rickshaw. The hospital building itself sits right on the edge of the road. We have a small sign out front that’s been there since the place opened. Inside, the hallway is long and a bit dark. We keep the lights on, but the windows are small. The air smells a bit like floor cleaner and old paper. Bank Road is noisy, so you can always hear the sound of the market nearby. In the evenings, it gets even busier when everyone is heading home. Our staff stays busy with the records and the patients. We have a small room in the back where we keep the medicine and supplies. It’s a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. The chairs in the waiting area are made of wood and they are quite heavy. Sometimes we move them outside when we need more space. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Bindwasini Nagar over the years, but the hospital stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It’s a simple operation, run by people who live right around here and care about the neighborhood. We don't have much fancy equipment, but we get by.
