We are located in the City Palace building on Surajkund Road in Gorakhpur. Durgabari is a lively part of town and there is always plenty of noise from the traffic outside. Our space is tucked inside, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the street. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Most mornings start with a quick sweep of the floor and a cup of tea before we get into the tasks for the day. We have a few machines that can be a bit temperamental, so we spend some time fiddling with them to get them running right. It’s not a polished environment. There are stacks of paper and sample materials everywhere you look. We aren't really the type to have everything perfectly filed away. We know where everything is, and that’s what matters to us. The guys who work here are from the local neighborhood in Durgabari, so we all talk about the same local news and the weather. Gorakhpur can get incredibly hot, and the City Palace building doesn't always stay as cool as we’d like. We just open the windows and keep working. We don't have any big mission statements written on the walls. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and head home to our families in the evening. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes we even stay late if a big job comes in.
