On Shore Construction Company.

Our office is over in the Railway Dairy Colony in Gorakhpur. It’s a simple setup in Q.No: 463/B. We do construction work, mostly on shore stuff as the name says. Gorakhpur is a place where you have to work hard if you want to get anything done, and we’ve been at it for a good while. The colony is a familiar spot for us, and being near the railway means there’s always noise and movement. We aren't a big company with shiny glass offices. Most of the time we are out at sites, getting our boots dirty and dealing with whatever problems come up that day. Construction is messy and it takes a lot of patience, especially when the weather doesn’t cooperate. In U.P., the summers are brutal and the monsoons can stop everything, so we just plan around it. We have a small crew and we know how to handle the local materials and the way things are built around here. It’s honest work. We don't talk much about visions or anything like that, we just look at the blueprints and start building. If a wall needs to go up, we put it up. People in the colony know us as the guys who are always busy with something. It’s a living, and we’ve been doing it long enough to know the shortcuts and the headaches of the trade. The trains go by at night and you just get used to the sound of it. It’s home.
