Maa Durga Traders

We have been here in Jagdishpur for a while now. Maa Durga Traders is located on Kaptan Ganj Road in Gorakhpur. It’s a busy spot but we manage. Most people around here know where we are. We handle basic trading stuff that people in the area need every day. My father started things out and now we just keep it going. It is not a huge shop or anything fancy. Just a regular place where we stack the goods and wait for customers to come by. The road outside gets quite dusty in the summer. We open early in the morning and stay until late evening usually. If you are coming from the main part of Gorakhpur, you just follow the road towards Kaptan Ganj. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic, but that is how it is. We try to keep things organized on the shelves, though it gets messy when we are busy. We deal with various items that folks look for. Nothing too complicated. Most of our regulars live nearby or pass through on their way to work. We don't really have a big office, just a desk and some chairs. It’s a simple setup. If someone needs something specific, we see if we can get it for them. We have been part of this neighborhood for years and know most of the faces that walk in. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. It's just a regular local business doing its thing on the side of the road. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just stop by when they see the door open. We keep a ledger for the accounts and a phone that rings too much. That's about it for us.
