K2 Import Export

Our office is over on Cinema Road in the Golghar area. K2 Import Export is basically a small team of us working out of a modest room. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at shipping papers. It isn't a retail shop where you can browse items on a shelf. Most of our work is coordinating between people who want things and the places that have them. Since we are near the cinema area, it’s always lively outside, which makes the walk to work interesting. We handle various types of goods, mostly whatever the current market is asking for. There isn't a shiny lobby or a big corporate logo on the wall. We just have our desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of coffee. Sometimes shipments get delayed at the port, and those are the stressful days, but we just deal with it one call at a time. We’ve learned that things rarely go perfectly in this business, so we just stay flexible. We don't have a fancy website with stock photos; we just do the work and try to keep our clients updated. It's a bit of a grind, but it’s what we know. We close up when the tasks are done, which sometimes means staying a bit later than planned. The building is a bit old, and the elevator is temperamental, but it’s our home base. We just focus on getting the cargo from point A to point B.
