Himanshu Traders

We’ve been running Himanshu Traders for a few years now in Rapti Nagar. Our shop is in Phase-4 of the Awas Vikas Colony. If you know where the Union Bank is, we are right near there. It’s a decent area with a lot of people moving in and out. We trade in various goods that the local households and small businesses might need. The shop is small and sometimes a bit cluttered because we try to stock as much as possible. I usually open up early in the morning. My younger brother comes in later to help with the deliveries. We aren't some big chain store. We are just local traders who know the neighbors. We don't have a big philosophy or anything. We just sell stuff and try to stay organized. The colony is usually busy, especially in the evenings. We get to talk to a lot of people every day. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive from the city, but we manage. We use an old ledger for most of our notes. It’s a simple way to work. We don't use a lot of technology, just the basics to keep things running. People appreciate that they can just walk in and ask for what they need. It’s a friendly place. We don't do anything fancy, just trade and talk. That’s our daily routine.
