Goodwillpeople Welfare Foundation

Goodwillpeople Welfare Foundation is situated at House No 216 in Basantpur, which is a part of Gorakhpur. It is just a regular house in a regular neighborhood. We didn't want a big office in a shopping mall because this feels more like home. We’ve been working out of this space for some time now. The street can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but it is a good place to be. We know most of the people who live on this block. They see us coming and going every day. Inside the house, we have set up a few rooms for our daily tasks. It is not very formal. We often have tea while we discuss what needs to happen next. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We focus more on the people we are trying to help rather than how the building looks. Gorakhpur has its own pace of life, and we fit right into it. We are not a giant organization with hundreds of employees. It is just a small group of us putting in the hours. We don’t use a lot of fancy words for what we do. We just try to be decent and get the work done from our little spot in Basantpur. It works for us and the people who visit from the nearby streets.
