Gauri Mini Supermarket

Gauri Mini Supermarket sits at Shop No 3 and 4 on Friends Colony Road. It is a handy spot for the people living in Asiyana Nagar. I opened this place because I saw how far people had to walk just to get basic daily things. It is not a massive mall, just two shops joined together with shelves full of whatever people might need for their kitchens. We have snacks, soap, lentils, and the usual household stuff that runs out quickly. It can get a bit cramped inside when several people come in at once, but we make it work. I am usually behind the counter most of the day. My nephew helps me with the heavy lifting and stacking the shelves when the new stock arrives on the delivery trucks. Sometimes we run out of specific items and people get a little annoyed, but we try to restock as fast as we can. The road outside can get quite noisy with all the traffic going towards the post office. We know most of our customers by their names since they live just around the corner from us. It feels like a small community here. We do not have fancy uniforms or fancy computerized systems for everything. We just use a notebook for some things and a simple till. It is a very straightforward business. We open early and close late. That is just the way a shop like this has to run to be useful.
