Bhartiya Jeevan Nirman Foundation

We are located at House No. 346 in the village of Mandanpur, which is under the Mohanpur post office. It’s a rural spot, away from the big city noise, and that is exactly how we like it. The Bhartiya Jeevan Nirman Foundation was started right here in the village because we saw that people were being left behind. We don't have a lot of resources, and our office is basically just a room in a house with a few chairs and a table that wobbles a bit. We spend our days talking to the villagers and trying to see how we can improve things around here, whether it’s related to farming or just basic health. It is slow work and sometimes it feels like we are barely making a dent, but we don't give up. We don't have any polished speeches or professional fundraisers. It’s just us, the local people, putting our heads together to solve problems. Sometimes the rain makes the roads to the village difficult to travel, so we don't get as much done as we’d like during the monsoon. But we are patient. We’ve lived here all our lives and we plan on staying. We don't use big words or try to sound more important than we are. We are just part of the village, trying to help our neighbors have a slightly better life than they had yesterday. It’s simple work, but it’s very important to the folks who live out here with us.
