Bharat Up Micro Foundation

Bharat Up Micro Foundation is located over in the Piparpati area of Bhatahat, which is in Gorakhpur. We are set up at Mubarak Katrai’s place. It’s a local spot that most people who live around here can easily find. Gorakhpur is a big district, but our little corner in Bhatahat is a bit more relaxed than the main city center. We spend our days here handling whatever comes up for the foundation. It’s a humble setup, nothing fancy at all. We have a few desks, some old files, and some chairs, and that is about it. The road out to Piparpati can be a bit bumpy depending on the season, especially after the monsoon, but it's a good place to be. We see the same faces every morning when we open up, which is nice. We aren't a big city office with glass walls or air conditioning in every room. We are just a local group doing what we can from this small office space. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few neighbors stop by at once to talk, but we always find room for everyone. The weather here can be tough, especially the humidity in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay on task. Most of the time we are just busy with the daily routine of running a micro foundation. It’s steady work and it keeps us occupied throughout the year.
