Ayam Mobile Gift Centre

We have been here in Bakshipur for quite some time now. People in Gorakhpur know this area is always busy, and our shop is right in the middle of it all. Most days, it is just us handling the mobile recharges and showing people different phone covers. We started as Ayam Mobile Gift Centre because we wanted to have a place where someone could pick up a new charger and a birthday present at the same time. It saves a trip to the bigger markets. The shop isn't very big, but we keep it full of things people ask for. Sometimes the fans don't work right when it is really hot outside, but we manage. You can find us easily if you are walking down from the main crossing. We get a lot of students coming in looking for cheap headphones or just getting their screens fixed. It is a lot of work keeping track of all the small gift items like clocks and toys, but it keeps us busy. We usually open up early in the morning after cleaning the front area. Bakshipur has its own rhythm and we are just part of the daily life here. We don't do anything fancy, just selling what's needed. If you need a SIM card or a quick gift for a party, this is where we sit. It’s a simple life running a shop in Uttar Pradesh, talking to neighbors and making sure the inventory is okay.
