We are located on Jubilee Road, and most people find us because of the big sign out front that’s been there forever. It’s a busy street, especially with all the shops nearby. We focus on orthopaedics, so there are always people coming in with casts or crutches. You hear the sound of those crutches clicking on the floor all day long. We also have a small area for research, which mostly means lots of files and old journals piled up in the back office. It gets a bit dusty back there, to be honest. The doctors are usually rushing between the exam rooms and the surgery area. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with leather chairs; it’s mostly just sturdy benches that are easy to clean. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when everyone takes a five-minute break. Jubilee Road can be quite loud with the traffic, but inside it’s mostly quiet except for the paging system. We’ve had to paint the front door a few times because the sun hits it so hard in the afternoons. It’s just a straightforward place where we fix bones and look into better ways to do things. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just have the equipment we need. It’s been our home for years and we know the neighborhood well.
