We are based out in Village Koini West, right near the post office. It’s a quiet spot, which is nice for the kind of work we do. Being an agrotech outfit means we spend a lot of time thinking about how to make the farming around here a little bit better or easier for the folks living nearby. It is mostly just a few of us working from the village. You won't find any big glass buildings here, just our workspace and some storage for the equipment. The roads out this way can be a bit rough after the rain, but we manage to get things moved around eventually. We do a lot of walking out to the fields to see how things are growing and what the local farmers are dealing with this year. It’s practical work, mostly. We handle the technical side of the agro business, but we still get our boots dirty like everyone else. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to stop for a bit, but that gives us a chance to sit and talk. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the seeds or the equipment we are dealing with at the time. It is a slow pace of life in Koini, but we like it that way and it lets us focus on the details of the job. It feels good to be working in the village.
