If you walk down Station Road in Ward Number 3 of Thawe, you will find our hardware shop right near the railway station. Being this close to the tracks means the sound of trains coming and going is constant, which is something you just get used to after a while. Our shelves hold a lot of different things, from nails and hammers to all sorts of bits and pieces people need for their houses. It is a small shop, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a big delivery of pipes or heavy tools arrives, but we make it work. Most customers are locals living around Thawe or folks who just got off the train and need something quick. We try to keep things organized, but in a hardware store, there is always a bit of clutter somewhere. Usually, it is just the two of us making sure we have what people are looking for. The floor is concrete and the walls are lined with shelves all the way to the ceiling. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights, just the usual stuff you would expect in a neighborhood shop like ours. It stays pretty busy when the morning trains arrive, and then it quietens down in the heat of the afternoon. We stay here until the last evening train passes by the station and the sun starts to set.
