Shri Ramashray Mishra Charitable Foundation

This foundation, Shri Ramashray Mishra Charitable Foundation, operates out of Basdila Khas in the Gopalganj district. We are based at the residence of Prem Shankar Mishra. It’s a quiet enough spot in the village area where everyone pretty much knows each other. We started this because we wanted to have something official based right here in our own community. The address is 841428, which covers our little area of Basdila Khas. It is not some big city operation with glass doors and air conditioning everywhere. It’s just a regular house where we sit and talk about what needs to get done. We don't really do the whole marketing thing because that isn't who we are. People usually find us through word of mouth or by just coming to the house. Living and working in Gopalganj means you see the same faces every day, and we like it that way. The office space is just a couple of rooms set aside for the foundation's work. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when people drop by to talk, but we manage. We handle our own filing and whatever tasks come up during the week. It feels good to have the foundation name attached to this house. We just keep things moving slowly but steadily. There’s no rush to be the biggest thing around. We are just here in Basdila, doing our part without much fuss or noise.
