Shanti Traders

Shanti Traders is our small business located in Ward No. 08, right at Banjari Chowk. Most people know us because we are so close to Radio Rimjhim. The area is always busy with people coming and going. We have been around for a while now. The shop itself is nothing fancy. It is just a place where we keep our stock and handle our daily work. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much but we have gotten used to it over the years. We open up the shutters early every morning to get a head start. There are only a few of us here. We handle the orders and talk to the locals who stop by. It is a simple way of living. We do not have a big office or flashy signs. Our desks are old and the fans make a bit of noise. We keep our records in notebooks because that is how we have always done it. It gets quite hot in the summer months but the breeze from the door helps. We see the same faces every day around the chowk. It feels like we are just part of the scenery here. We don't really do much talking about ourselves. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to get through the day's list. It is a practical life and we are okay with that.
