Sahay Edible Oil Mill Private Limited is located right here in Ram Naresh Nagar, Gopalganj. If you ever walk down toward Gp15385, you will probably smell the seeds before you even see the building. It is not a very big operation, just a local mill where we spend most of our days keeping the machines running. Some days the heat in Gopalganj gets pretty intense, and it makes the work inside even slower than usual, but we just keep at it. The floors are often a bit slick and there is always a layer of dust from the pressing process, but that is just how an oil mill is. We started this place because it seemed like a practical thing to do for the area. People around here know where we are, and we don't really do much in the way of fancy talk. It’s mostly about lifting heavy sacks and making sure the containers are ready for whatever comes through next. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait, which gives us a chance to talk to the neighbors who wander by. We aren't trying to be anything huge or special, just a regular part of the neighborhood where people can see the work being done with their own eyes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the machinery is what matters most to us at the end of the day. It’s just how things go around here in our corner of Bihar.
