National Flysh Bricks

We are located in Chawraw Village, which is part of the Gopalganj Block. We are situated pretty close to Jadavpur Chowk and Lal Manuni Chowk. People usually find their way to us by asking around at those two landmarks. We make fly ash bricks. It’s a bit different from the traditional red bricks because of the materials we have to use. We’ve been at this specific location for a while now. The setup is mostly open air with some metal sheds for the machinery we use. It involves a lot of mixing and pressing all day long. The machines are quite loud, so you can usually hear us working before you even see the yard. We have a small team of guys who run the presses and move the bricks around. It’s repetitive work, but it really needs to be done right or the bricks won't be strong enough for building. We get the fly ash delivered by truck and then we get to work immediately. It’s a busy place with a lot going on. There is almost always a truck being loaded or a new delivery of materials arriving. We don’t have a fancy reception area or an office. If you come by, you’ll probably find me near the machines or checking the current inventory. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, which is just part of life here.
