Vishnu Rice Mill

Our mill is located in Fulchur Peth in Gondia, specifically near the ITI. If you are looking for us, we are under the care of Kuldeep Dinesh Singhania. The mill is a busy spot, especially during the months after the monsoon. We have a lot of space here, which is good because the piles of paddy can get quite high. Gondia is a major area for rice, so we are right in the middle of everything. The daily routine starts with checking the moisture in the grain. We spend a lot of time walking around the warehouse and making sure everything is stored properly. The machines are old-fashioned but they do the job well enough. We have a few regular workers who have been with the Singhania family for a long time. It feels more like a small community than a corporate office. There is a lot of noise from the de-stoners and the polishers, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We sit outside in the evenings once the machines are turned off and the dust starts to settle. It’s a quiet part of town near the ITI, except for when the trucks are moving. We don't have a website or any big marketing plans. People just know where we are and what we do. We take the paddy, we mill it, and we send it out. It is a simple process that we have been doing for years and years. It works for us.
