Reetwahy Foundation

Reetwahy Foundation is located at House Number 94 on Bamni Sadak in Gondiya. It’s a simple house that we use for our office. Gondiya is a quiet place for the most part, and Bamni Sadak is a regular street where kids play and people go about their business. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. Most of the people in the neighborhood just know us as the people who work from that house. Inside, it’s just desks, some old chairs, and stacks of papers. We spend our mornings going through mail and planning out what we need to do for the week. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear our normal clothes and sometimes we have the radio playing in the background. We started this because we saw a need in Gondiya and thought we could help out. It’s mostly just a few of us putting in our own time and effort. We don't have any big investors or anything like that. We just do what we can with what we have. Sometimes the roof leaks a bit when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep working. It is a very grounded way to live and we like being right here on the street where we can see everyone passing by. It keeps us humble and focused.
