About Khusbu Tea Stall – Food & Beverages in Gondia
The stove at Khusbu Tea Stall stays on from early morning until late evening. Being right at the Main Bus Stand means there is always noise and people running around. You hear the bus drivers shouting and the conductors ringing those bells all day long. We are tucked in near the Canara Bank, so we get a lot of the office workers coming in for a break when they need a bit of sugar and caffeine. The tea is always hot, and the ginger smell is strong. Sometimes we run out of milk faster than I expect, and I have to send someone to get more. The benches are a bit old, but they work fine for a quick sit-down. On rainy days, it gets really crowded under our small roof because everyone wants to stay dry while waiting for their ride. We go through a lot of glass cups. Washing them takes up half my time, honestly. It’s a small place, just a basic tea stall. Nothing special to look at, but it’s a landmark for people who travel this route every day. The bank security guard usually sits here for a few minutes every afternoon. We don’t have a menu or anything like that. You just tell me what you want, and I make it. It’s busy, loud, and sometimes a bit messy with the tea leaves, but that’s how it goes here. We just keep the kettle boiling and wait for the next bus to arrive.
