Kiranajunction

Kiranajunction is our small shop located in Ramnagar. It is a basic neighborhood store where we sell things people need for their daily lives. We have been in Ramnagar for quite a long time now. The shop is filled with bags of rice, different kinds of dals, and household items like soap and oil. We don't have a computer to track everything. We mostly just know what is on the shelves by looking at them. It’s a small space, so it can feel a bit crowded when more than two people are inside. We know almost everyone who lives on this street. They come in for a few things and we often talk about the weather or local news. We don't have any big sales or advertisements. People just know we are here and they come when they run out of salt or sugar. The floor is a bit worn from all the walking, and the shelves are made of simple wood. In the evenings, we turn on the bright tube lights so people can see us from down the road. We stay open until late because someone always forgets to buy something for dinner. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a good one. We just try to keep the shop stocked and the prices where they should be for our neighbors. That is really all there is to Kiranajunction. We open early and close when the street gets quiet. Just a regular shop in a regular part of town.
