We are located in Smita Lay Out, which is in Ward Number 03 in Mahadula. This is out near the Koradi Thermal Power Station in the Kamptee taluka of Nagpur district. Being near the power station means there’s always a lot of industrial activity around us. Kalyani Forge Ltd operates from here, and it’s a place that feels very grounded in the local community. The air often has that smell of industry, and you see the tall chimneys of the power plant in the distance. Our setup here is quite simple. We have a small team managing the forge work and the logistics for this area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Nagpur city, so it’s quieter in terms of city traffic but busier with trucks and heavy machinery. We don't have a fancy showroom or a polished office. It’s a workspace where the floors are a bit dusty and the chairs have seen better days. We focus on the forging tasks and making sure everything is handled correctly. Most of the guys here are from the nearby villages or Kamptee itself. We talk about the local festivals and the harvest as much as we talk about work. It’s a very direct and honest way of working. No one here is trying to be something they aren't. We just do the work, look after the equipment, and keep things moving every day.
