Gokul Plastics

Gokul Plastics is located right in the middle of the Main Market at Chandni Chowk, inside the Sindhi Colony area. It is very close to the police station, so there is always a lot of activity and noise around us. Our shop is packed with all kinds of plastic items that people need for their houses or for work. We have stacks of bins, buckets, and other stuff piled up pretty high. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we usually know where everything is if you give us a minute to look. The market gets very crowded, especially in the afternoons, which makes moving goods in and out a bit of a challenge. We spend a lot of our time just chatting with customers and the people from the neighboring shops. It’s a very social place to work. We don’t bother with fancy displays or professional lighting. We just put the stock out where people can see it. Sometimes the rain makes the market streets a mess, and we have to move everything inside quickly. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. We’ve been here for years, so we’ve seen the market grow and change. We just keep doing our thing and helping out whoever walks through the door. It’s a busy life, but it’s our life and we’re used to it.
