Anand Rice Mill

Anand Rice Mill is out in Village Bhuyar which is part of Tehsil Pauni in the Bhandara district. If you are looking for us we are right near the Mata Temple. The post office is also called Bhuyar. Being in a village means things move a bit slower than in the big cities but we are always working. The mill is a central spot for the farmers around here. They bring their harvest and we spend long hours getting it all processed. You can hear the machines running from quite a distance away especially when the air is still. We are very close to the temple so we often hear the bells while we are working. It is a dusty environment but that is part of the life. My brothers and I run the place together. We learned everything from our uncle who had a smaller mill years ago. The machinery we have now at Anand Rice Mill is much better but it still needs a lot of looking after. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. Everyone in Bhuyar knows where the mill is. During the peak season we sometimes work late into the night just to keep up with the amount of paddy coming in. It is a quiet life in Bhandara for the most part except for the sound of the huller. We just provide a necessary service for our neighbors and try to keep everything running smoothly.
