Porting Overseas

If you know Moti Bazar, you know how crowded it gets. Our spot is tucked away on Satodiya Street. It’s one of those narrow lanes where there’s always something happening. We handle a lot of the overseas work from here. It’s mostly coordinating things and making sure papers are in order. The street outside is usually full of carts and people moving goods. It can be quite noisy, but we’re used to it. Inside our space, it’s a bit quieter, but not by much. We’ve got stacks of files and phones ringing all day. It’s a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. No big corporate manual exists here. We just figured out what works through trial and error over the years. Some days are slower than others, but mostly it’s a constant stream of tasks. Lunch usually comes from the local stalls nearby because the food is good and fast. We don’t spend much time on decorations or looking fancy. We just need our desks and a good connection to get the job done. Dealing with overseas stuff means sometimes the hours are a bit odd, but we manage. Being in the heart of the market keeps us on our toes. It’s a practical way to work. People around here know us as the guys on Satodiya Street who handle the porting side of things. It’s just how we live and work every day.
