So, we are located right here in Talu-Gondal, which is in the Rajkot district. If you know the Akshar Mandir, we are basically just around the corner from there. It's a busy enough spot, especially when there are festivals or people visiting the temple. Our place, Murti Darshan, isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, to be honest. It is mostly just a workshop where we spend our days covered in white dust from the carving. My hands are usually pretty rough by the end of the week. We have been in this part of Gujarat for a long time now. The sun gets really hot in the afternoons here, so we usually take a bit of a break around two o'clock when the light hits the road a certain way. People stop by sometimes just to look, or they want something specific made for their home. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Word usually gets around just by people talking in the market. It can get pretty loud with the tools going all day, but you get used to the noise after a few years. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the stools and wait for it to come back on. It is just a regular way of life for us here near the temple. We just keep working on the pieces until they look right, then we move on to the next one.
