Madhuram Cement Articles

We are located out at Plot No. 164/12 in the Jamwadi Gidc area. Madhuram Cement Articles is a small production yard where we make various things out of cement. It’s a dusty place, as you can imagine. There are always bags of sand and gravel piled up near the entrance. We have a few molds for different shapes and sizes. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but it’s what we do. We aren't a big factory with machines doing everything. A lot of it is still done by hand. We spend our days mixing cement and pouring it into the forms. Then we wait for it to set. It’s a slow process sometimes. The Gidc area is full of workshops like ours, so it's always noisy with trucks and machines running. We’ve been here for a while. My father started this years ago, and I just kept it going. We don't have a fancy office, just a small cabin where we keep the books and take a break. Most people who buy from us are local builders or people working on their own houses. We don't do much talking; we just focus on making the items. Sometimes the water supply is a bit patchy, which is a problem when you need to mix cement, but we have some tanks to help with that. The yard gets a bit muddy when it rains, so we have to be careful with the finished pieces.
