Hi-Mac Castings Pvt. Ltd.

We are located out at Road No. 11 in the Lodhika Industrial Estate, which is part of GIDC Metoda. It’s a bit of a drive out on Kalavad Road, but we’ve been here at Plot D-6 for a while now. Working at a place like Hi-Mac Castings Pvt. Ltd. means dealing with a lot of heat and heavy metal every single day. The foundry business isn't for everyone because it’s hot and physically demanding work. We spend most of our time around the furnaces and the molds, making sure the metal pours right and the castings come out like they should. It’s a noisy environment and there is always dust in the air, but that’s just how a casting unit works. We don’t have a polished front office or anything like that. Most of us are usually out on the floor, checking the heat or moving heavy parts around with the crane. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so they know the smells and sounds of the shop better than anything else. It’s a local operation, and we focus on getting the orders out to the people who need them. Sometimes the weather makes it even hotter inside, but we just keep going. It’s practical work, and we don’t feel the need to dress it up with big words. We just do the casting, pack it up, and get it ready for the trucks that come by every afternoon.
