Abhisuryay Bandhej Garments

We are located on Street No- C-7 in the Fulwadi area. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main markets, which we actually prefer. Our work at Abhisuryay Bandhej Garments is all about the traditional stuff. We spend our days surrounded by bright colors and fabrics that have been tied and dyed. The smell of the dyes is something you just get used to after a while. Our setup is pretty simple. We have our workspace where the garments are handled and a small area for keeping the finished pieces. It’s a very hands-on process, so you won’t see many machines around here. Most of it is done by hand, the way it’s been done for a long time. The neighborhood knows us, and we know them. Sometimes the street gets a bit narrow when deliveries are coming in, but everyone just works around it. We aren't trying to be a massive factory. We like the scale we are at because we can actually see every piece that goes out. It’s just a few of us working together every day. We start early, finish when the work is done, and that’s about it. It’s a decent life here in Fulwadi, just doing our thing with the garments and keeping the tradition going. It’s hard work but it’s what we know and we find it satisfying.
