Shakti Travels

Our place is right by the New Sabji Mandi on Utaraula Road. It is a busy spot, especially in the early mornings when the vegetable market is in full swing. You can hear the sellers calling out from our front door all day long. Shakti Travels has been at this location for some time now. We have a small office where we handle all the bookings for cars and buses. Most of the time, the floor is a bit dusty from the trucks passing by on the road outside, but we sweep it when we have a free moment. We have a couple of old benches for people to sit on while they wait for their paperwork. It is a lot of writing in ledgers and making phone calls throughout the day. The traffic on Utaraula Road can be a real nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to get the heavy work done before the rush. My nephew helps out with the computer stuff because I am not great with the new systems they use now. We keep all the vehicle keys on a big wooden hook behind the main desk. It is not a polished setup, just a practical one for a business like ours. People stop by on their way to the market to ask about trip prices or schedules. We don't have a big sign, just a small painted one over the door. Sometimes we stay late if a driver is delayed or if there's a problem on the road.
