Pandey Clinic

Our clinic, Pandey Clinic, is located on Sirsia Road in Bhinga, right near the Jokhava Bazar. Being so close to the bazar means we are right in the middle of all the daily activity. You can hear the goats and the cows sometimes, along with the sound of people bargaining for vegetables just a short walk away. The building is a simple one-story structure that has been our base for quite a while. The floor is made of smooth stone that stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the Sirsia Road outside. We have a small area for patients to wait, and it usually fills up pretty quickly in the mornings. There’s a lot of coming and going from the surrounding villages in the Bahraich area. People come here when they aren't feeling well or need a quick check-up. No flashy signs or anything like that are used. Just a board out front has the name on it. Inside, things are basic with just the tools and supplies we need for the day. The windows are small, so we rely on the overhead lights a lot. It’s a humble place, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. Often, we stay late if the bazar is still busy and people are still arriving from the outer roads. It’s a steady kind of life here in Bhinga.
