Abhinandan Readymade

We are located near the Old Tehsel Kotwali. It’s an old part of the city and the streets are quite narrow. Our shop is filled with racks of clothes from floor to ceiling. It can be a bit overwhelming when you first walk in because there is so much packed into such a small space. We spend our mornings unpacking new bundles and trying to find a place for everything. The lighting isn't the best, so we rely on the open door for most of the light. We don't have any fancy computers for the billing. We just use a paper ledger and a pen to keep track of what goes out. It works well enough for us. Customers usually spend a long time looking through the piles. We don't hover over them. We just let them find what they like. Sometimes the delivery trucks can't make it all the way down the lane, so we have to carry the boxes the rest of the way by hand. It’s tiring work but we’ve been doing it a long time. The shop gets very busy during the festival seasons. We don't have a lot of room to move then. It’s just a simple place where we sell what we have. People know us by the corner near the old building. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stacks just get too high. It’s just how it is here.
