Kerd Bio Energy Farmer Producer Companylimited is based out in Gonda. If you are looking for us, we are at Balram Tiwari’s place in Dhiraja Purwa. It is a farmer producer company, so it is really about the people who grow the crops. We focus on bio-energy projects. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the work is. We spend a lot of time talking to local farmers about how to use their waste for energy. It is a practical setup. We don't have a big fancy office. We usually just meet at the house or out in the fields. Balram Tiwari is who you look for if you get lost. The village life is quiet most of the time, except when we are moving equipment around. We are trying to figure out the best way to make the bio-energy side of things work for everyone involved. It is a group effort. We have some papers to file and meetings to hold, but mostly it is just manual work and planning. Being a private limited company means we have some rules to follow, but it still feels like a community project. Gonda is our home and we are just trying to do something useful with the resources we have. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, but we manage.
